I earned my BS in Psychology at Washington University and my MSW at Loyola in Chicago. I spent several years working with clients including children, adolescents, families, and individuals.  I went on to earn my Ph.D. in clinical social work at Smith College, in Northampton, MA.  I received extensive training in psychodynamic theory and practice and researched the well being of women as it relates to work and family life.  In addition to my clinical practice, I have taught graduate level social work. I enjoy ongoing learning and continue to participate in trainings related to cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and yoga among other topics.
